Hello! We are Kate and Jimmy, two imaginative and slightly ridiculous friends from the beauteous northern land of Minnesota. During our four years at Carleton College, we had many adventures, including navigating rough seas aboard the soggy but trusty cardboard vessel the Bessie May, learning the ways of interpretive dance, and even performing delicate surgery on (twelve-foot-long paper) legs. Now we have struck out along different paths, Kate in Boston and Jimmy in the Twin Cities. But no matter how far we travel down this forked road, there’s always time for a few New Things, some Cosmic Coordinates, lots of Learning About, and plenty of laughter.
In 2008, we discovered the Cosmic Coordinates of the Universe after much study and diligence. The Cosmic Coordinate Directions are a useful way to talk about motion and time, two of the most abstract yet critical concepts in human imagination. Bloog refers to the motion of the earth relative to the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation left glowing from the Big Bang fourteen billion years ago. Since our Universe has been expanding, we are always moving away from the CMB. We are always going to Bloog. At the same time, we’re also moving Gliosuplius: forward in time. The combination of our movement Bloog and Gliosuplius is not only a fact of nature: it's a state of mind.
Bloog + Gliosuplius is a place where we keep creating together, and we hope you’ll come along with us for the voyage!
love, Kate & Jimmy
